This hackathon aims to develop alternative affordable environmentally friendly power solutions for African residential customers. It will create prototypes with a diverse team composition from students, academia, industry and government.
Powering Africa’s Future
Designs and prototypes will be modified for underserved communities globally including developing nations and North America. We’re seeking innovative solutions that address real-world energy challenges with affordability and sustainability at their core.
The hackathon will culminate in the selection of finalists who will present at the 2027 International Conference on Developing Well-Rounded Global Professionals in the United States.
